Traditional belt of Thrace Korona (Crown) or or Asimozounaro.

A beaitiful waist jewelry consisting of gold plates and closed with the central buckle, the korona (Crown).

It is decorated with colorful stones in red and green and has as a central decorative motif at the top the double-headed eagle.

According to tradition, this belt was the gift of the groom to the bride and often had a dedication inscription. Characteristic and basic accessory of the women's costume of Soufli, Metaxades, as well as the costume team of Mega Zaloufi of Eastern Thrace.
